Job Summary: The Inventory Manager oversees all aspects of inventory levels, shipping and receiving processes, maintenance of accurate records, and developing new processes to optimize inventory control procedures and productivity levels. This role also oversees all warehouse functions, assists in analyzing suppliers, and monitors stock levels to ensure appropriate material needs are met. The Inventory Manager communicates and collaborates within the team as well as with other departments’ leadership to ensure that company goals are met. The Inventory Manager is responsible for managing all performance aspects of the Inventory Team and creating a cohesive, efficient, and productive environment.

Skills, Abilities, Qualifications and Physical Abilities (Essential Functions)

  • Proven understanding of all inventory management controls including shipping and receiving procedures
  • Proven skill in various database/spreadsheet and warehouse/inventory management software
  • Demonstrated experience in all aspects of leading teams 4-10 people including hiring, training/development, performance reviews, and team building
  • Excellent Communication Skills, both verbal and written
